Exclusive: Callum Newman Talks Will Ospreay, Bea Priestley, Juice Robinson and Toni Storm Doing Moves In His Back Garden Ring

Callum Newman has been one of the fastest rising stars on the British Wrestling scene impressing fans, wrestlers and pundits alike, including turning the head of the current self proclaimed real IWGP Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay.

With will Ospreay taking the young performer under his wing as his protege. Being the protege of one of the best wrestlers in the world certainly has it perks as Andy More and Daniel Allen found out on a recent Tea & Tights Great British Wrestling Podcast special. As Callum spoke about having Will, NJPW’s Juice Robinson, NXT UK’s Blair Davenport (Formally Bea Preistley) and Smackdown Live Superstar Toni Storm doing moves in his back garden ring.

“I done a question thing on Instagram where I put who wants to come to my back yard and he replied saying “Yeah ha ha” but I messaged him like if you want to come round you know where I live just turn up, because ages ago he picked me up take me to a Progress Show, and he was like “oh wait seriously because I’ve got a house full of people and we just need to get out the house” and I was like yeah just turn up and then he turned up with him Bea, Juice Robinson and Toni Storm and we all were just back yarding, jumping about and Juice is doing moonsaults and shit and I’m just like shit what’s going on I don’t know what’s happening all these massive stars are in my back garden and I’m stood like can I do move please, its insane I looked up to him for like years and he is like the main reason why I wrestle and the way I wrestle now and he’s essentially just messing around in my back garden”
