WWE Talent Informed That Covid Testing Is No Longer Required

Covid-19 is at an all-time high in contracted cases and WWE was hit very hard over the past week.

Over the weekend it was reported that a few of WWE’s s top talents were pulled from the MSG Holiday house show after some were either exposed or tested positive for covid.

With all the news that has been released a very surprising new report has surfaced. Fightful Select is reporting that via email, WWE has made talent on both the main roster and NXT roster aware that weekly covid testing will no longer be required. The reports state that Fightful was not made aware of a vaccination qualifier was added to the ruling.

Several top WWE stars are sidelined from this week’s show with covid infections, but WWE is taking measures the opposite way within NXT. Performance Center talent was informed this past weekend that their no longer requiring the twice-weekly covid testing that had previously been mandatory. We’ve also learned that WWE main roster also got an email being informed that weekly testing isn’t required. We were not told if there was a vaccination qualifier added to that ruling.

It was reported this morning that RAW’s script was supposed to be rewritten after all of the recent covid upticks within the company.

There are reportedly only six writers available for the show tonight. We will have to see how WWE goes about protocols moving forward.
