Rikishi Asks For Umaga To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame

A WWE Hall Of Famer is lobbying for Umaga to be inducted by the company into this year’s Hall Of Fame class.

Rikishi, who was inducted into WWE’s Hall Of Fame in 2015, is now asking that his younger brother Umaga joins him amongst other legends in the industry.

Rikishi took to Twitter to share a GIF of the late star making his entrance at WrestleMania 23. Believing that Umaga’s induction has been long overdue, Rikishi wrote:

“I feel it’s long overdue #UmagaHOF class of 2022 . What you say @WWEUniverse should my brother go in this year ?? #UmagaClassOf2022″

Umaga, a two-time Intercontinental Champion, debuted for the company as Jamal of 3-Minute Warning along with Rosey in 2001. He would be released in 2003, but would return to the company in 2005 and was repackaged as Umaga. On December 4th, 2009, he passed away at age 36, after suffering a heart attack.
