MJF And Dax Harwood Take Care Of A Fan That Snuck Backstage At Dynamite

To wrestlers, the locker room and backstage are sacred ground. The only people that are normally backstage are the wrestlers themselves, a production team and or people helping out with the show, and occasionally guests of the wrestlers. There are also occasions when fans somehow sneak past security and end up backstage.

Usually, they are taken care of pretty quickly, but on very rare occasions like what transpired during AEW’s trip to Long Island a fan might blend in and not be noticed for a little while.

Fightful Select is reporting that during last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite at the UBS arena, a fan posing an extra got past UBS security (Not AEW’s). The fan apparently made his way back to the locker room, and his plans slowly unraveled.

While in the locker room, the fan sat in Dax Harwood’s seat and then when informed of as such, proceeded to sit in the Blades seat. After it was brought to his attention, talent started to feel something wasn’t right, so they began to grill him with questions.

The fan was asked who his trainer was in which he replied “Jeff Hardy,” who does not train wrestlers. He was then asked to identify the person who had booked him to be an extra, but he could not identify the person correctly. It was reported that when he did provide a name it was a person who doesn’t do that particular job.

After being questioned, his cover was blown. The report added that MJF and Dax Harwood quickly ejected him from backstage. They took him to someone who then stated that the same fan had been kicked out of another AEW show in Boston back in October. The person then claimed to be a friend of Taz’s which also was not true.

The report also stated that AEW security has no heat following the situation, as it was more of a screw-up on behalf of the UBS Arena’s security. A source close to the ordeal stated that with the recent Seth Rollins incident it was good that they were able to handle the situation without any physicality.
