Exclusive: Beyond Wrestling Uncharted Territory Done After This Month, Being Replaced By New Promotion That Won’t Guarantee Paying Talent

Beyond Wrestling’s Uncharted Territory has been pushed on IWTV as one of their flagship brands, and it has seemingly been a success.. but, it looks like Beyond’s Uncharted Territory will not be returning once the current season wraps up later this month.

I have learned that Beyond Wrestling’s Uncharted Territory will be replaced by a new promotion that is being launch by the company’s current owner Drew Cordeiro beginning in January 2022. The new promotion is said to launch on the first Thursday of January (1/6/22) and will feature a new and unique business model, where everyone will be paid off the gate and there will be no financial guarantees for talent.

” Everybody will get paid off the gate.. There will be no guarantees.”

The belief is that it will allow the promotion to drop ticket prices and “level the playing field in terms of giving our local and less experienced wrestlers a bigger platform to stand out.”

It will be interesting to see how the new business venture pans out, because one of IWTV’s top original series is ending after three successful seasons on the platform and being replaced by a new promotion that is offering their talent NO guaranteed money, while the promotion and IWTV will continue to profit off the streaming revenue.

The third and apparently final season of Beyond Wrestling’s Uncharted Territory kicked off earlier this year on October 7th, 2021 and the final episode will air on Thursday December 30th, 2021.

I did not receive any information on the name of the new promotion that will be replacing Beyond Wrestling’s Uncharted Territory, only that they are “launching a new promotion which will replace Uncharted Territory starting the first Thursday in January.”

I will keep you updated if I hear anything more about the new promotion being launched to replace Uncharted Territory next month.

Drew Cordeiro posted an update “clarifying” that “the wrestlers will have to pay to be on the show.” This has not been confirmed to be true and may just be the promoter trolling the original report.
