During an interview this week Cole guaranteed that eventually, he would be the top star in AEW and now it looks like Tony Khan is elaborating on those statements.
While speaking with Barstool Rasslin, Tony Khan talked about Adam Cole’s run in AEW so far. Khan stated that Adam Cole has the potential to become the biggest star in pro wrestling.
“This is someone I have so much respect for and I think is one of the big stars in wrestling and I think has the potential to become the biggest star in wrestling. He’s so, so electric in the arenas. The fans care about him so much.”
We will have to see if Adam Cole continues being booked as he has been, and only time will tell how big of a star he will actually be.
