At Summerslam, we saw the return of Becky Lynch after a little over a year out of the ring due to her and Seth Rollins having their first child. The initial reaction from fans was surprising and welcoming vibes, but that soon changed after she Squashed Smackdown Champion Bianca Belair in an unannounced match after it was reported that Sasha Banks was not clear to compete.
Not only have fans have mixed feelings about Lynch but after it was reported that she and Flair had an altercation backstage it was clear others backstage might have felt the same.
While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Becky Lynch was asked about her relationship with Charlotte Flair. Becky Lynch made it clear that things are not good between the two.
“I don’t know, man, We don’t talk anymore. We don’t talk. So all I’ll say is the locker room needs a hero sometimes. And sometimes somebody’s gotta be a hero. I’m all right being that hero. That’s what I’ll say on that matter.”
SI: “Do you trust Charlotte Flair?”
Lynch: “No.”
SI: “Are things difficult right now with Charlotte Flair?”
Lynch: “Yes.”
SI: “Were you guys friends and no longer friends?”
Lynch: “We used to be best friends.”
It was reported that Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch’s relationship has been rocky for the past couple of years. We will have to wait and see what will happen once the two clash at WWE Survivor Series later on this month. Below is the whole interview with Becky.
