Bray Wyatt’s Post-WWE Hollywood Plans Have Been Confirmed

There had previously been tons of questions about what company the former Bray Wyatt would end up in. It now appears like he won’t be wrestling at all; he’s heading to the big screen.

Back at the end of October on the 28th, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select relayed, “Bray Wyatt has been in Los Angeles of late fielding inquiries regarding Hollywood projects.” This was reported after a photo of Wyatt outside of a Warner Brothers building began to circulate.

Callosum Studios owner Jason Baker confirmed this movie project with Wyatt when he spoke to Alistair McGeorge of Metro

Baker said the following, “He’s a phenomenal collaborator, he’s become a really good friend, and we’re actually – you’re the first person that we’re publicly telling about. We’re starting a film at the end of the month. Two weeks to go, we’re filming in Tennessee. It’s a feature film and it’s something really new and different. I’d say probably the best way to describe it is Ichi the Killer meets Xanadu. We had some meetings out there and things happened and things got moving forward, and now we’re going and shooting this feature film with him and the end of the month.”

The report from Fightful Select mentioned the following, “WWE sources indicated to Fightful that this is far from the first interest in Wyatt from Hollywood, noting there was a pitch made that would have involved him participating in a movie before his release.”

Baker was asked if the movie would include any parts of ‘The Fiend’ character, and he responded the following: “We’re not using any of that – we’re going in a completely different direction, a whole new thing. It should be fun. Hopefully fans of horror and fans of Windham like it!”

Wyatt was released by WWE back on July 31, and with his 90-day non-compete being up on October 29, we were expecting him to show up at one of the many companies who seemed to take interest in him.
