At Least 10 WWE Superstars Still Have A Chance Of Being Released

WWE recently released 18 superstars from their contracts due to budget cuts with a few of the names including Nia Jax, Keith Lee, and Karrion Kross, and unfortunately, it looks like the company isn’t done yet.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer stated that at least 10 NXT wrestlers were almost released last Thursday and are still “on the bubble” of being cut. He mentioned Danny Burch and Timothy Thatcher by name, as they are veteran talents who aren’t being used particularly well on television right now, with the group comprised of wrestlers who don’t fit the current NXT 2.0 vision.

“Of all the people that were cut, there were probably about 10 others that were in strong discussion about being cut. Pretty much everyone that was not being used well was on the bubble and they were considering cutting. I’m gonna guess when I saw the list of the people that were originally looking at being cut but were not, that a lot of those people I can see them being cut. Essentially everyone at NXT that’s a veteran that you don’t see on TV. All of those guys,”

While we never wanna see someone lose their jobs, over the past year it has become almost a normal thing when speaking on WWE so we will have to see if the company releases any more talent in the near future.
