WWE Lowering Age Cut-Off For Female Superstars

After the latest batch of releases, the WWE’s roster is definitely looking a lot different. It now seems like the WWE is moving in a whole new direction and will soon be considering implementing a new system when it comes to NXT contracts and Now it looks like they will be placing an age cut-off on female talent.

During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez stated that WWE has a new cut-off when it comes to women they are looking to hire. It seems that the days of signing women with veteran experience might be over.

They’re very much into young women now — young women to the point where you know how they have the male cut-off thing where it’s where ‘we want you to be 27 or under 6-foot-2?’ Well, now they want to women to be young. I heard two numbers. I heard you have to be 23 or younger, or 25 or younger. That’s what they want now.

We will have to see how WWE operates moving forward but as a company, there are a lot of new changes being put in place.
