Since returning earlier this year after having a very scary bout with Covid-19, Keith Lee has been through many changes regarding his character and the direction of his character. Lee has seen some success since returning in his feud with Karrion Kross but post feud hasn’t seen the former NXT and Nxt North American Champion really do much more. A former writer and right-hand man to The Chairman Of the board doesn’t see the newly named Bearcat Keith Lee going anywhere within the WWE.
While speaking on Legion of RAW, former WWE writer Vince Russo talked about Keith Lee’s current booking in WWE. Russo claimed that Keith Lee will never manage to get over with fans.
“Bro, I get so much heat, but because of my experience and all the talents that I worked with and stuff and I could sit here and tell you, never going to get over, never going to get over, never going to get over, and I’m telling you from a casual fan’s point of view. That’s what I’m telling you from, and I said it with all these guys, bro; I said it with every single one of these guys.”
We will have to wait and see if Keith Lee can make lemonade out of lemons but if previous stars within WWE are examples of what can happen, it’s not looking well.
