WWE Lowers Ticket Prices For Show In Same Venue That AEW Has Almost Sold Out

There is no doubt that AEW is the hottest thing going in professional wrestling at the moment and now that is starting to affect WWE’s ability to sell out venues that both promotions are hosting.

According to Wrestle Tix, WWE has slashed ticket prices for the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW at UBS Arena in Long Island, New York, on November 29. It was reported that WWE has sold/distributed 3,130 tickets so far and this is after announcing that Roman Reigns will be on the show.

UBS Arena, Belmont Park – Long Island, NY WWE Raw • Nov 29 Available Tickets => 3,970 (-427) Tickets Distributed => 3,130/7,100 (44%)

AEW Dynamite • Dec 08 Available Tickets => 2,060 (-103) Tickets Distributed => 7,639/9,699 (79%)

Current ticket prices for Monday Night RAW are now lower than AEW ticket prices in most of the sections. On the other hand, AEW Dynamite has sold/distributed 7,639 tickets so far and are close to selling out the venue. They have sold/distributed nearly 80 percent of the allotted tickets.

The UBS Arena will officially open on November 29 and Monday Night RAW will be the first wrestling event at that venue. A few days later on Dec. 8, AEW will air a live episode of Dynamite and also tape Rampage. AEW is certainly having no trouble selling tickets right now and it remains to be seen how long they will manage to sell tickets so well.
