Heath Slater Has Officially Signed With Impact Wrestling

In April of last year, Heath slater and former 3MB member was released by the WWE after years with the company. Not long after his release Heath joined IMPACT at Slammiversary and began lobbying for a contract. He would sporadically appear on the show, teaming with his old partner, Rhino. Unfortunately, at Bound For Glory 2020, Heath was injured and has been out ever since.

Until last week when Heath would return to IMPACT and immediately reach out to Rhino, trying to save him from the clutches of Eric Young and Violent By Design. The villainous faction confronted Heath and informed him that they are still working with Rhino and that their attack on him was purely a method of “curing him.”

Well on last night’s episode of Impact Heath would sit down with Scott D’Amore and finally signed the IMPACT contract he so desperately sought. Before putting pen to paper, however, he asked to team with Rhino at Bound For Glory versus VBD. D’Amore made it official but informed Heath that he isn’t sure Rhino would want to be his partner. Heath said he would fight regardless of if Rhino is in his corner.
