AEW Sells Over 18,000 Tickets For Grand Slam Event

AEW is coming off of their biggest PPV ever in All Out. They now look to keep the momentum going with one of their biggest shows in terms of attendance at Arthur Ashe Stadium. This will be the first time that this venue will host a pro wrestling event and there is a lot of hype surrounding this event.

The card for this event is shaping up to be a good one, as we will see Kenny omega take on Bryan Danielson in a non-title match. We will also see Britt Baker defend her title against Ruby Soho. these are just a few of the matches that have been made and more are expected to be announced tonight on Rampage. The big question was how good would ticket sales be?

According to WrestleTix, 18,424 tickets have been sold for AEW Grand Slam so far. That leaves just over 1,000 tickets available for the show.

1,004 Estimated Capacity => 19,428

Tickets Distributed => 18,424 (95%)

AEW released several more batches of tickets throughout the last several weeks. The demand was there as fans continued snatching up every seat they could. The current get-in price for the show is around $55.

It is possible that AEW will Sell up to 19,000 tickets so we will have to see how they do.
