The Acclaimed Pulled Of AEW Rankings After Max Caster Controversy

Max Caster caused a lot of Controversy with his rap lyrics about Simone Biles’s mental health and the Duke Lacrosse team, so much so that AEW’s president Tony Khan made the call to start overseeing the editing of AEW DARK and DARK Elevation. The rap was eventually edited out of the show.

We reported yesterday that AEW had suspended Caster without pay for two months. Well, it looks like the Acclaimed is receiving more repercussions for the rap. As of this morning, AEW has removed the Acclaimed from the companies tag team rankings, a list they were working to climb up.

The acclaimed were at the top of the rankings for several weeks and rose to the number two spot for a while before dropping back down to the number four spot. It seems like the Acclaimed may have a dark cloud over them for a little while now.

Max Caster is still listed on AEW’s roster page, so he was not released by the company, but it’s safe to say the team will be feeling the backlash from his comments on the microphone and it will cost them valuable time out of action.

Will you be forgiving of Caster? Will the Acclaimed Rise bac to the top when they’re back?
