Vickie Guerrero Pulling For AEW To Sign Ruby Riott

AEW has been on a recent streak of signing recently released WWE talent. In the past few months, we have seen the debuts of Andrade El Idolo, and Malakai Black. The 90-day non-compete clause for more released talents runs up soon, and Ruby Riott could be looking for a new home outside of WWE.

Both Cm Punk and Daniel Bryan are also expected to be joining the AEW roster very soon. This is expected to be a big boost for the company.

While speaking to the Thoughts Count Anywhere Podcast, Vicki Gurrero was asked about Riott. She may be going as Ruby Soho now or The Runaway, but no matter what her post-WWE name is, Vickie would love to see her in AEW.

“I would love to have Ruby on the roster for AEW. She was really underutilized. Just a great talent and a wholesome human being.”

Ruby could offer a wealth of veteran experience to the AEW roster, one that the company could really use. We will have to see what’s next for Ruby, but AEW doesn’t seem to have closed its doors on her at all.

Vickie Gurrero also revealed that she has asked Tony Khan about giving her an all-female stable to lead. No word if Khan has given his blessings on this request but we will have to see what happens, but Riott would be a great addition to any situation in AEW at this point.
