WWE announced the release of Buddy Murphy along with a slew of other Superstars last month.
Following his release, Murphy revealed that WWE called him in a panic to check to see if he was under a 90 day non-compete or a 30 day non-compete like Aleister Black apparently was. He confirmed that he is indeed under a 90 day clause, which will keep him off competitors television for another couple of months at least.
However, Murphy’s first non WWE match following his release has now been announced.
Murphy vs. Machine
Former WWE Superstar Buddy Murphy will face AEW’s FTW Champion Brian Cage at the 2300 Arena, formerly known as the ECW Arena, on September 18th.
