Many WWE Superstars Reportedly Not Happy With Orders To Report To Performance Center For Additional Training

WWE is gearing up to take the company back on the road next month. With the planned move out of the ThunderDome, WWE has apparently ordered their Superstars to report to the Performance Center for additional training.

According to a report from PWInsider earlier this week, WWE Superstars were informed while at this week’s RAW tapings that they are expected to report to the Performance Center over the next few weeks for additional training and in-ring workouts. It was said that this is to “better prepare them for the company’s official return to the road in July.” It was also noted that this is believed to be a “a Vince McMahon edict.”

In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that some WWE Superstars were not happy with having to report to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando for additional training prior to going back on the road next month. It was noted that for a lot of WWE Superstars the order to report to the PC is not a big deal, that is because they live in the Orlando area and do not have to travel. This is not the case however for many other WWE Superstars, who now have to make a special trip into Orlando just for these mandated workouts.

“Those who live outside of Orlando were not happy because it interrupts their home life and routine, especially those with families, and many can train on their own and do for conditioning while at home.”

It’s also been reported that there are some of the upper tier WWE Superstars who are not required to report to the Performance Center for pre-touring workouts. While there haven’t been any specific WWE Superstars named, it was said to be “more optional” for those who are “main event Superstars.”
