Longtime WWE Supervisors And Other High Ranking Department Figures Among Today’s Layoffs

WWE has been making another round of layoffs today, this time seemingly only affecting backstage employees with the company.

Earlier today WWE announced they parted ways with Adnan Virk, but more releases were coming. It was then reported that WWE was folding numerous divisions into one, and that it would be directly overseen by Kevin Dunn.

According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, there were a lot of people on the digital end where were let go from WWE today as the WWE Advanced Media Group department is merging with TV. Some of those were people who worked for WWE.com and WWE’s YouTube, as well as editorial and production.

Additionally, Sapp reported that there are HR meetings scheduled for this afternoon for many of those who were let go today. Some of the people who are among the cuts are said to be high ranking people in those departments, and longtime supervisors.
