WWE appears to be making some a few cuts today, as another NXT Referee appears to have joined Drake Wuertz on the list of those released from the company today.
NXT Referee Jake Clemons has also been released from his WWE contract.
According to a report from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, NXT Ref Jake Clemons has been released. It was noted that Clemons already has an upcoming indie booking.
“We’ve been told that referee Jake Clemons has been let go from WWE NXT as well, unfortunately.
I’ve also been told he already has an indie booking, so good for him.”
Clemons most notably served the role of Seth Rollins “heel referee” on the WWE Main Roster.
Clemons and Wuertz are just the first names coming out in what appears to be another round of WWE cuts.
