WWE Reported To Be Heavily Considering Las Vegas For Upcoming SummerSlam PPV

A hot topic of discussion as of late has been the upcoming WWE SummerSlam PPV.

It was previously reported that WWE is considering a few locations for the upcoming SummerSlam PPV Event, which is expected to kick off WWE’s return to a live touring schedule. One of the locations that has been reported was Madison Square Garden, however another city that has been coming up is Las Vegas.

According to a new report from Jon Alba via his “Living The Gimmick Podcast” available on his Patreon, WWE is apparently considering Allegiant Stadium, in Las Vegas as a potential venue for SummerSlam. Allegiant Stadium is the new home of the Las Vegas Raiders, and can hold approximately 72,000 fans at full capacity.

With Nevada recently lifting their pandemic regulations, Las Vegas could now be the host city for SummerSlam as the company looks to potentially use the event to kick off their returning to a live touring schedule finally.

It has also been reported that WWE has nothing set in stone that far ahead, with their focus only set as far ahead as the upcoming July PPV. We will have to wait and see what the company decides to do for their annual SummerSlam pay-per-view.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about WWE’s plans for this year’s SummerSlam event.
