Michael Hayes Points Out Unique Fact Behind WrestleMania 37 Triple Threat Match

WrestleMania 37’s main event was one for the ages, as Roman Reigns decisively defeated Daniel Bryan and Edge. It was a big night for Reigns, but something about that made things extra special. Michael Hayes recently posted on Twitter to reveal what made it so unique.

Hayes was the producer for the match and revealed on Twitter that unlike several big matches and main events lately, he pointed out that no one involved in the match kicked out of someone’s finishing move. Not only did he mention that, but he questioned when the last time that happened in a WrestleMania main event.

Want to know what was soo unique about the AWESOME TRIPLE THREAT that closed Night 2???? No One kicked out of each other’s finish!!! When is the last time that happened in a WM Main Event?

Finishing moves aren’t always protected in the WWE. Very few are considered sacred, and the WWE has wound up letting some of those moves not mean as much lately. To have a match where no finisher is kicked out of may not have been a big deal once, but it’s probably a bigger deal than most realize these days.
