However, a former WWE Superstar would like to test his mettle against Der Ring General.
Erick Redbeard, formerly known as Erick Rowan, hit up Triple H on Twitter and declared his interest in going one on one with the leader of Imperium. His capital letters probably added extra emphasis.

While it’s probably unlikely to happen, Triple H gets a lot of autonomy in NXT, so you can file this under the “never say never” category. While it’s unknown how fans would react to the match, a lot of people may find the thought of the two squaring off intriguing.
