Can WWE Superstars Hear The Crowd Noise In The WWE ThunderDome?

The WWE ThunderDome has certainly been an interesting experience for fans and WWE Superstars. The WWE has done their best to simulate the live experience by video conferencing in fans in addition to the controversial move to pipe in crowd noise. Not only does it allow Vince McMahon to control the crowd reactions so he gets what he wants, but it also allows the performers to feed off of some sort of crowd energy, that is if they hear it.

Fightful Select spoke to some WWE stars as the WWE prepares to move to their third location for the ThunderDome and asked for some details. After what they referred to as “months of foggy information,” the site has reported the Superstars can hear the simulated crowd noise.

WWE is finishing up at the Thunderdome in Tampa at Tropicana Field this week before switching to a new venue. Fightful spoke to several wrestlers who have competed at the Thunderdome about the ambient noise piped in to the venue. They confirmed that they can hear the noise piped in, so they aren’t reacting and wrestling to pure silence.

After months of the simulated crowd noise, WWE Superstars will hear live fans for the first time in over a year at WrestleMania 37 this weekend. The wrestlers will want to soak up all that live crowd as quick as they can, as they will be right back in the ThunderDome for Monday Night Raw.
