News On Titus O’Neil’s Hall Of Fame Induction

Last night, Titus O’Neil was honored with an induction to the WWE Hall of Fame as the recepient of the Warrior Award. This disappointed some people, as many people thought the late Shad Gaspard would, and should receive that award and the induction.

Fightful has reported that the plans for O’Neil’s induction have been planned since last year, but there was no announcement due to the COVID-19 pandemic changing several plans, including the Hall of Fame plans. O’Neil’s award and the planning for it was no slight on Gaspard, as all of this was planned before Gaspard’s unfortunate passing.

O’Neil also has heavy ties to the Tampa community, which also played a big role in the timing. The site spoke to people and most said that they expect Gaspard to be inducted eventually, noting he was born in New York and eventually found a home in LA, two places WrestleMania often visits.
