On this week’s special episode of Tea and Tights, Dan and Andy are invited to take part in the UKPW wrestling quiz as they face off against a pair of British Wrestling legends in a test of wrestling knowledge. Plus the Tea and Tights team review the latest NXT UK as well as bring you all the latest news from around the British Wrestling scene in the latest Brit Wres round up.
Our Special this week come courtesy of UKPW, as Dan and Andy were asked to participate in their Wrestling Quiz, featuring such stars as Roy Johnson, Charles Crowley, Clementine, Simon Miller, Adam Mansfield, Rex Armstrong and Cieran Donnelly. In this first round match up the Tea and Tights team put their wrestling knowledge to the test against British Wrestling legends Alex “Dow Jones” Gilbert and the “Turkish Delight” Omer Ibrahim.
Dan and Andy talk all the matches and all the angles from this weeks NXT UK (3/3/21), including the incredible main event for NXT UK Women’s Championship between the legendary Meiko Satomura and Champion Kay Lee Ray. Plus Ilja Dragunov finally gets his hands on Sam Gradwell after weeks of torment, Amir Jordan and Kenny William face of with Ashton Smith and Oliver, which team will climb the ladder of tag team division, Tyler Bate is also a guest on Noam Dar Supernova session.
On this weeks Brit Wres Round Up, Progress Wrestling announce Chapter 106; Put a Pony in me Pocket, Reach wrestling announce two open day try outs as well as announcing their return to action with 2 shows and BWR have announced Youth Revolt, plus Fight Nation Announce their return after 2 years. Dan and Andy also discuss their views of the ever expanding rosters of both Wrestle Carnival and Odyssey Pro Wrestling as they plan their returns following lock down, the guys also discuss their recent appearance on the UKPW Quiz, finally the guys go through the results of the most recent ICW Fight Club.
