Tony Khan Speaks On AEW’S Interest In Zelina Vega

Zelina Vega’s non-compete clause is over as of February 11th of this year, and she is now officially a free agent.

Fired by the company for “breach of contract” after she reportedly “challenged” WWE over their third party ban by opening an OnlyFans account following her anger over having her Twitch channel shut down by the company. However, it does seem like she might have some interest and that’s with All Elite Wrestling.

Khan was a guest on Wrestling Observer Radio, Khan had been asked about the company’s interest in Vega and he gave his thoughts on her.

Isn’t she in a 90-day non-compete? She was in a non-compete last time I checked. I’ve been waiting for that….I don’t talk to people when they have the non-compete. If hers expired, it must have just expired. I’ve been waiting on her non-compete to expire. I’d have to check the math to see if she expired. When we get through this tournament and through this pay-per-view, I’d be interested to see where she’s at.”

An earlier report stated that sources had not heard of any companies having an immediate interest in her, but this would fit in line with Khan not wanting to speak to others during the no compete clause and him not knowing when it finishes. She might just have an option out there yet.
