Big Show Upset With Financial Terms WWE Last Offered Him

AEW shocked the pro wrestling world when they revealed they had signed Paul Wight. Wight had been seen on WWE television as recently as Legends Night on Raw back in January, and he had seemed to be incredibly comfortable with the company. Few people saw this coming, but apparently it has been brewing for a while.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that at Legends Night, Show was “very open that night about his unhappiness about the situation.”

Show ends a two-decade long relationship with the company, where he arrived in February of 1999. This was after a successful stint in WCW but still saw far more success in WWE than he ever found with WCW.

Show now joins AEW as what is said to be an in ring competitor and he will also be a commentator for their new AEW Dark: Elevation program that will air on YouTube. We will have more information on this after Dynamite tonight.
