Back in NXT, Damian Priest had The Reckoning. Meanwhile on Raw, Retribution had a Reckoning of their own. When Damian Priest finally arrived on Raw, something had to give. It turns out it was his finisher.
For the last couple of weeks, Priest has had the commentary team refer to his new finisher as Hit the Lights. It’s not the first time the WWE has made little changes to presentations once people have moved to the main roster, Keith Lee an obvious example, but it certainly seemed to be done with recognizing the other Reckoning on Raw.
It also didn’t hurt that Reckoning returned to Raw this week. While Reckoning’s Retribution weren’t so successful, the newly named Hit the Lights put an end to Angel Garza on this week’s Raw.
