Asuka hits hard, but she got hit a little harder last night on Raw thanks to Shayna Baszler. The Empress of Tomorrow got nailed so hard by Baszler, she wound up spitting out a tooth. Obviously this is cause for concern, but in an update from last night, there’s not much of one.
PWInsider reports Asuka got checked out after getting backstage and while there’s no update over her injury status, all that’s confirmed was the broken tooth.
The broken tooth came while Nia Jax had a submission on Asuka at the time, giving her no chance to block Baszler’s kick which wound up being 100% legitimate. While it’s obvious there’s the small issue, it’s unknown if there’s going to be long term repercussions for Asuka’s health over the shot.
