Ben Carter Is Making Seth Rollins Proud

Ben Carter made his debut for NXT UK on the 7th of January, shortly after signing for the WWE after impressing on the American Independent scene including two matches for AEW on their Dark show.

Carter would go on to face NXT UK Cruiserweight champion Jordan Devlin in his debut match, coming up short but in a truly excellent performance, Carter still managed to wow the viewers at home with his high speed and high flying offence. Carter has gone on to win his next two matches against Sam Gradwell and most on recent edition of NXT UK against Josh Morell, showing in those matches how well his ability to evolve and learn is, adding more British/European wrestling to his already impressive arsenal.

Ben Carter’s Debut Match On NXT UK Against Jordan Devlin

It’s not just the viewers at home Ben Carter is impressing, as the man trained by Seth Rollins at his Black and Brave Wrestling Academy has been making his coach proud with his performances on NXT UK.

Speaking on WWE’s the Bump, Seth Rollins discussed how proud he has been watching his student continue to evolve on NXT UK;

“It’s great, man. I’m so proud of him and how quickly it happened for him as far as getting signed and coming onto the scene in NXT UK and just making a huge impact right out of the gate. Is extremely impressive, I had to spend two years in WWE developmental before I even had a chance to do something like that and so it’s really impressive to see. I’m so proud of him and it’s just the tip of the iceberg. We’ve been running the school now for 7 years or so, we got tons of graduates who are just right there on the coast and you’re going to see a lot of names in the independent scene as well, when the independent scene starts back up again hopefully in the summer but, man I’ve got a lot of talented young men and women down here. It’s a really good feeling to watch them succeed.”
