NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day didn’t wait for the show to begin to drop some surprises.
On tonight’s kickoff show for the event, NXT fans were shocked when the former Eli Drake arrived and crashed the pre-show’s hosts of Wade Barrett, Sam Roberts, and Brandon Walker from Barstool Sports.
Knight had recently had been contracted to Billy Corgan’s NWA, and was appearing for the NWA Shockwave shows at the end of last year. Now, with the new name of LA Knight, Eli Drake has arrived in NXT in a shock arrival for the black and gold brand.
