AEW Star Makes Surprise Appearance Following NJPW Strong Main Event

On last night’s edition of NJPW strong, former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley made a shock appearance, attacking Bullet Club’s and No. 1 contender for Jon Moxley’s USA Championship, Kenta.

Following the main event of the evening, a 6 man tag team match featuring Bullet Clubs Kenta, El Phantasmo and Hikuelo facing off with a team of former WWE stars TJP, Lio Rush and Fred Rosser FKA Darren Young. Lio Rush would pick up the win for his team pinning El Phantasmo, the members of Bullet Club would continue to assault their opponents, when the lights switched off.

When the lights turned back on it was US champion Jon Moxley who had come out to make the save and attack the contender for his title, Kenta, quickly taking out Hikeulo and El Phantasmo with the championship belt. Moxley and Kenta would stand nose to nose before trading forearms back and forth, Kenta would go on to hit the Go To Sleep but Moxley countered and hit the Deathrider DDT (Paradigm shift) leaving the No. 1 Contender out cold in the ring.

Moxley would then deliver a promo on his challenger, letting him know that his “Foot is officially up his ass from now on” as he leaves the ring he notes that he’ll see his challenger in Tokyo soon enough.
