PUBG Mobile Reveals Upcoming Partnership With AAA Lucha Libre

One of the most popular mobile games in the world is PUBG, otherwise known as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The battle royale style game has been downloaded over 700 million times and grossed over $4 billion on mobile devices as of December of 2020, and now they are dipping their toes into the world of pro wrestling.

The PUBG Latin America account has posted on their Instagram a tease of an upcoming partnership with AAA Lucha Libre where their iconic Psycho Circus trio will be featured in the game. Psycho Clown, Monster Clown, and Murder Clown are featured in the graphic, where the post asks “are you ready to get in the ring with us?”

AAA has been able to run empty arena tapings thanks to the financial support of their sponsors, and AAA has upcoming tapings where they could reveal a partnership with the game coming up. The trio is one of the company’s most popular acts, with Psycho Clown being one of the company’s main event stars. Psycho won one of the biggest matches in company history when he defeated Dr. Wagner Jr. in a Mask vs. Mask match at TripleMania XXV.
