Ring Of Honor’s COVID-19 Protocols “Likely” To Catch Positive Tests

Ring of Honor’s COVID-19 testing protocols have been some of the most stringent and tight in all of professional wrestling. A procedure that begins before a talent even steps into the Ring of Honor “bubble” for taping, it’s helped maintain the health and safety of talent and production. According to a report, they are one of the most likely companies to catch a positive COVID-19 case with their procedures.

Fightful Select noted that ROH is the only company who hasn’t found a positive test though, as EC3’s positive test came during a pre-travel screening.

They also reported that due to the stringent protocol and bubble is, they are likely to “catch some” positive COVID-19 tests. Talents are tested several times even in the Ring of Honor bubble and they are not permitted to leave.

ROH has tapings next week, and is actually the only company filming that we’ve not heard of any positive tests from, though they’re likely to catch some based on their own testing. We’re told ROH’s methods are very stringent, and their bubble is very strict.

All this talk is coming because their talent is arriving at the bubble this weekend, with TV tapings scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, in addition to pre-tapes during the early part of the week. They’ve done a wonderful job keeping their talent healthy and safe from COVID-19, let’s hope it stays that way.
