Ethan Page Reveals He Asked IMPACT Not To Bring Karate Man To Television

Ethan Page is currently a free agent, but on his way out the door of Impact Wrestling he brought to them his Karate Man character from YouTube.

Tonight, Page meets his creation one on one at Hard To Kill, and while the character has become popular among Page’s fans, it seems the appearance of Karate Man on Impact wasn’t his idea.

A fan had tweeted out that everything going on with Karate Man and Page on the show was from the mind of Ethan Page and Impact was enabling him, Page responded to it and revealed that he asked the company not to use the character on television. The fan eventually apologized, and Page said it was fine. He had seen several similar comments, but the fact he had seen Impact referred to as an enabler for it was what had him respond.

Ringside News wound up reaching out to Page and confirmed that, and that he wasn’t working the fans with that statement.

“I don’t write the show. [shrug emoji] I just try my best with what I’m told to do.”

Page’s contract has already expired, so this match could be his last with the company, however it was filmed months ago.
