WWE Pushes Date For WrestleMania Back, Has No Location Locked In

WWE loves to go all out for WrestleMania. After letting everyone know they’d be going Hollywood for WrestleMania 37, those plans no longer seem to be in place. They’re currently trying to push back the date of the show in the hopes the longer they hold out, the more likely it would be to have fans at the event. So when and where will it be this year?

WWE will not be holding the pay per view at SoFi stadium, a report that went back as far as July said that they would like to hold the show in Florida, specifically Raymond James Stadium in the hopes of making good for WrestleMania 36. Currently, WWE has April 11th marked on an internal calendar as the date for WrestleMania 37, but according to a Fightful Select report, the company is running into issues as far as finding a venue for the event. They currently have nothing locked into place.

It wouldn’t be taking place at either Tropicana Field or Amway either, as the Tampa Bay Rays and Orlando Magic respectively will be using those venues.

While Raymond James Stadium has nothing scheduled for that date, it remains to be seen if the WWE will return to the venue they tried to hold last year’s Show of Shows. Hopefully we’ll reach a point where even some fans will be able to attend the show in person.
