Talent Seen On AEW Dark Makes Interesting Name Change

AJ Kirsch is quite the wrestling personality. In addition to being a valuable part of the MLW announce team until he and the company parted ways at the start of the year, he has participated on the independent scene as “Broseph” Joe Brody. Kirsch even debuted on AEW recently under this persona in the corner of Tesha Price.

Obviously, this would make some people wonder if he has worked out an arrangement with AEW to become a talent with the company. Few enhancement talents get a manager, and Price has long been on AEW’s radar. Now another move has been made that while small, could point to AEW having an interest in bringing Kirsch in as his Broseph gimmick on a regular basis.

Yesterday on Instagram, Kirsch posted on his account for the Joe Brody character that he was changing his name. Now dubbing himself “Broseph” Joe Broakley, he revealed it by announcing a new shirt with the name change that can be found on his PWTees store. While this seems like a small deal, the fact he would alter the character name out of AEW’s respect for Brodie Lee seems like a stretch but still a potential hint the company has future plans for Price and the now Joe Broakley as a duo in the company.

Obviously this is speculation. However, name changes like this usually don’t come unless something is on the horizon, so take this as you will.
