Some reports have arisen suggesting that “The Diamond” Poirier has signed a new 8 fight contract with the UFC ahead of his scheduled bout with Conor McGregor on Fight Island this month.
Along with the contract length, there was a suggestion that Poirier would very much intend to see out the contract before even considering retirement.
Poirier has professional record of 26-6-0 and 1 no contest.
