Jon Moxley came back to NJPW during the first night of Wrestle Kingdom 15 today. This was his first appearance in NJPW in 11 months.
Before the match, in order to determine IWGP US Heavyweight Right to Challenge briefcase between KENTA and Satoshi Kojima, the current IWGP US Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley appeared in a taped segment.
Moxley was wearing NJPW Strong ring gear in the video and revealed that he will be defending his IWGP US Title eventually against whoever becomes the victor.
Ultimately it was KENTA who won the match and will be challenging Moxler for the title.
