Exclusive: AEW Planning On Leaving Daily’s Place Next Month

AEW has called Jacksonville their home for most of 2020, as the company held the majority of their events at Daily’s Place. But, it looks as though AEW will be taking production out of Jacksonville next month.

After speaking to my sources within AEW, it sounds as though the company will be calling Miami home for the month of February. AEW will record several weeks of Dynamite’s and Dark tapings, and their upcoming Revolution PPV in Miami before returning to Jacksonville in March.

Additionally, I was told that there have been some complaints about wrestling in the the sub-freezing weather in an outside venue [Daily’s Place] which likely played into the company’s decision to move production to a warmer location. Plus it was noted that a change of scenery would be good for everyone’s morale.

Tony Khan had previously stated that the company was planning on holding a special “Beach Break” event in January, but that looks to have been pushed back to February after the recent scheduling changes made for Dynamite following the passing of Brodie Lee.

AEW will be live in Jacksonville this week for Night 1 of their New Year’s Smash edition of Dynamite, and will be taping next week’s Night 2 on Thursday. AEW will be back live at Daily’s Place on January 20th, and will be taping the 27th’s episode on the 21st before heading to Miami for the month of February.
