Nick Aldis Reveals His NWA Contract Status

The NWA has lost several talents to free agency in 2020, leaving fans of the company to wonder who is still with NWA going into 2021.

One person isn’t going anywhere, and that’s NWA Champion Nick Aldis. Aldis was a guest on Konnan’s Keepin’ It 100 podcast where he had a chance to talk to Konnan about his contract status, revealing Billy Corgan picked up the option on his contract. He had a chance to talk to Konnan about his contract status and the return of NWA Powerrr in 2021.

“I had an option on my contract and Billy picked it up. Like I said, I would not have opened up any discussions with anyone without talking to [Corgan]. … I just care about that paper. That’s it and Billy’s been very loyal to me and I to him and I truly believe in what we’re doing with the product and I wouldn’t walk away from it because we haven’t even scratched the surface of what we could accomplish.”

Aldis seems committed to the process Corgan has laid out to restore the NWA to its glory days, and given how much Corgan has relied on Aldis as his franchise player, it’s good to know he is equally committed to Corgan. Aldis definitely seems to, as they say, trust the process.
