Low Ki Says The WWE Is Scared Of Him

Low Ki’s career has taken him all sorts of places. A run as the Ring of Honor Champion, multiple stints with IMPACT Wrestling, a stop in New Japan and what seems to be a home in MLW have been highlights, but a brief cup of coffee in the WWE happened somewhere in the middle of all that.

His run in the company as Kaval may not have lived up to the expectations and desires of his fans, and if you believe what he has to say, it’s because the WWE is scared of him.

Low Ki recently spoke to Wrestling Inc and said the WWE is scared of him because he wasn’t made by them. He says he was “groomed the old fashioned way” and gained his experience out on his own. He feels like the WWE doesn’t like well traveled wrestlers because they want to build wrestlers into their own image of what they believe a “Superstar” should be.

“They’re scared. Why? Because they didn’t make me. Why? Because I’m groomed the old fashioned way. I gained my experience. I’m a journeyman, and on top of that, I perform at a higher level than those guys even think. So, why am I going to sit there and walk in? I’m going to pay attention to the behaviors of the people who are supposed to be in charge, I pay attention to their behaviors, and I’m supposed to sit there and listen to them and watch how they treat other people?”

“I’m supposed to sit there and let them do the same thing to me? Notice, I don’t point anyone out and condemn them. Or even ten years later, I don’t single anyone out and say they did this and they did that. I have plenty of those stories, but I haven’t done that. Why? Because I don’t need to.”

Low Ki may have no desire to find his way back to the WWE and it’s possible the feeling may be mutual from the higher ups in the WWE, but Low Ki seems to be doing fine on his own.
