Exclusive: How Long Ago Did Sting Actually Sign With AEW?

Sting made his AEW debut back on the December 2nd, “Winter is Coming” edition of Dynamite.

It was announced that Sting signed a multi-year deal with the company, and that he is expected to be a regular part of AEW programming going forward. It was also reported that AEW might be planning on having Sting wrestle, with cinematic or tag team matches being options.

After speaking with my sources within AEW, I have learned that Sting actually signed his contract with the company about a month ago.

Sting appeared on tonight’s episode of Dynamite in an in-ring segment with Cody Rhodes, and was interviewed by his former WCW colleague Tony Schiavone.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about Sting, or plans for him now that he has debuted with AEW.
