Update On Internal Concerns With WWE’s Move To Tropicana Field

WWE’s stay inside the Amway Center in Orlando is coming to a close as the company prepares for the move to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

There had previously been some concerns about WWE’s decision to move the ThunderDome to Tropicana Field, one being the sound – as the Stadium has horrible acoustics, the other being the large colony of pigeons that lives in the Dome’s roof. While these issues may be of concern to some, it sounds like it is only one for people at the “highest levels” of WWE.

According to a new report from Ringside News, they were told that WWE moving the ThunderDome from the Amway Center to Tropicana Field is said to only be a concern for those within the company that are at the “highest levels.” It was said that most within the company aren’t thinking about the move right now, as their focus is still primarily on WWE’s two weekly television shows they still have left to produce.

The report went on to state that “a tenured member of the team” told them that currently only people like Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn, and set designer Jason Robinson are the ones who are preparing for the move. Beyond that, it was stated that “there is no planning.”

WWE’s ThunderDome debut inside Tropicana Field will take place on the December 11th episode of SmackDown. We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about WWE’s move to “The Trop.”
