Survivor Series staple The Gobbledy Gooker made his return to the company Sunday night and managed to win the 24/7 Title from R-Truth before losing it later in the evening to Akira Tozawa. The reign wasn’t long but made for some entertaining comedy.
This, of course, has left fans wondering who was underneath the costume and PWInsider has reported that Drew Gulak was wearing the costume. However, WWE has not acknowledged this as on the list of 24/7 Champions, Gobbledy Gooker is credited with the reign and not Gulak. It does make sense from a storyline standpoint as Gulak has been in hot pursuit of the title in recent weeks.
Perhaps tonight on Raw Gulak will don the costume once more for another 24/7 Title reign. Or maybe Hector Guerrero will return for one more run.
