Drew McIntyre won the WWE Championship after defeating Randy Orton this past week on Monday Night RAW. He has been the top face for RAW for the past few months and it seems that will not be changing.
The question remains as to who he will be defending his title against next. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is protecting Bobby Lashley. The US Champion has been made to look strong, but it seems it might be for a different reason.
It was said that WWE is preparing for a feud between Lashley and McIntyre for the WWE Title.
We will have to see how they will build the feud.
