Triple H Offers Thoughts On If Undertaker Will Stay Retired

The Undertaker celebrates his Final Farewell tonight at Survivor Series, and the build up to it has left a lot of fans and colleagues emotional about the situation.

Triple H has a lot of fond memories of him, and it’s no surprise. The two have had a long and tenured careers with the company and have even been involved in some incredible matches at WrestleMania. Triple H has even remarked that in the early days of his relationship with Stephanie McMahon, he sought out Undertaker for advice. Now on the eve of his Final Farewell, Triple H has been open on his feelings about The Undertaker with Sports Illustrated, especially when they asked him if he thinks The Deadman will stay retired.

“Someone asked me the other day, ‘Do I think he should retire?’ I’ve also been asked, ‘If he stays retired, shouldn’t he stay retired? Will he come back in two years? Won’t that be a mistake?’ When it comes to all that, I can only give my opinion.

He represents everything amazing about our business. There is a uniqueness to it; he’s different from any other character. That’s why I think Mark Calaway should be able to do whatever the f— he wants. He’s earned that right.”

The Undertaker has always been one to play by his own rules with his career. With the respect he’s built up in professional wrestling and the WWE, most people are sure that if he wants to come back he will and with Vince McMahon’s support.
