Drew McIntyre Wants To Use Broken Dreams For Special Occasions

Wrestling fans will always think of wrestlers who have had multiple themes and debate which the better one was. One of those wrestlers is Drew McIntyre.

Drew’s old theme, “Broken Dreams” feat. Shaman’s Harvest, has long been a popular theme and even McIntyre admitted to being a fan. While not everyone is a fan of McIntyre’s current theme, McIntyre loves both his themes and even if he has teased a return to Broken Dreams in the future, he has a clear idea how he’d like that to go.

McIntyre spoke to the Battleground podcast and said that if it comes back, he’d very much like it to be for a special occasion.

Personally, I have visions of it coming back for a special occasion and then hopefully releasing it for download because it is talked about all the time. It was such a popular song. I personally think it’s great. If you look up the ‘Broken Dreams’ lyrics and check the story, it kind of matches my career story, which is interesting. It’s just a little slow for me, right now. I love the bagpipes and war music. It doesn’t quite match the current Drew McIntyre, but I do want to bring it back for special occasions.”

McIntyre definitely looked ready for war this past Monday on Raw when he regained the WWE Championship and he’ll likely be ready for war Sunday at Survivor Series.
