Aleister Black’s gimmick was slightly changed as he turned heel and began wearing an eyepatch, following a kayfabe injury. He had a short feud with Kevin Owens and is now waiting for his next storyline.
As previously reported, it was said that Aleister Black requested to be moved to NXT. However, WWE denied his request. Apparently, he was not directly rejected but instead, his request was met with silence.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was said that “he didn’t directly ask and get turned down, but he did float the idea around and nobody seemed interested when he did so.”
We will have to see what storyline WWE will prepare for Black.
